I finally got annoyed enough at my 2014 Cherokee nagging about the winter tires not having TPMS sensors. I bought a set from Amazon, p/n 68157568AA, set of 4 for $34 shipped. Looks to be the same part across most of the 2014 Dodge, Jeep, Rams. I'll be dropping the tires at the shop on Monday to install the sensors.
Just double-checking here. Am I correct that the Cherokee is supposed to autolearn them after about 10-minutes of driving, and I don't need the shop do any magic?

That I do not know, but I would be just as curious as you to find out.
If the sensors you brought are Jeep, then hopefully they will be able to. Where did you read that they will autolearn?

The last time I did this at the tire store they said to take it out on the freeway and drive it at 70 until it cleared the code. Took about 5 minutes.

No definitive answer on the autolearning. I was at the dealer for the recall on the transmission firmware, so I just had them install the sensors. They charged an hour labor, so a little bit more than the local mom&pop shop would have charged me. I think they manually programmed them since they were hooked up to the computer anyway. Odometer only had 3 more miles on it, presumably to make sure the transmission still worked after the firmware update, versus the 10-minutes I understand that the auto-learn takes.
It's frustrating that the tire dealers charge $65 per tire for TPMS sensors. They're probably installing the same set that I got for $34 off Amazon.
