Default Symbol on display

I may totally be blind looking at the manual, but has anyone seen this symbol on the driver's display before? My Cherokee is a 2015. The symbol under the direction letter. Thanks!

Pg 352-353, read it. The next section you can find yourself, I already taught you how to fish...

Edit: ok, apparently these newfangled vee-hicles have more gadgets than room in the manual. You have the tech package I'm guessing. Check your ACC (adaptive cruise control). Should be able to set it, try and see if the bars decrease. 3 bars is probably the factory setting.

That was my suspicion, as well! I must have turned it on without realizing. I'll test that out next time I drive. Thanks!

Yeah you must have the ACC (Adaptive Cruise Control) option. You must have turned it on by hitting the button on your steering wheel.

And when a car is within the targeted distance ...
I like the way a Wrangler icon pops up to show you it is tracking a car.
