Default No Brake Code Sticker, Help!!

I have a stock 4cyl 2016 jeep cherokee latitude, i looked for the brake code sticker but it seems to have been removed as well as the owners manual. i cant seem to dig up the proper code for the single piston caliper so i can ensure i get the right brake parts. any techs out there that can help?

Better to post on the KL forum for best results.

I'd call a dealer with your vehicle's VIN number to be sure of what you need.

This belongs in the 2014+ Cherokee forum. https://www.cherokeeforum.com/f87/

I believe only the Jeep Grands have a brake code sticker in the glove box to designate between the regular or larger HD caliper brake options. You said 4-cyl so I'm assuming this isn't a Jeep Grand Cherokee. The regular 2014+ Cherokee only had two options for the calipers, either single or dual caliper which you can determine by visual inspection.

The above is correct. I contacted my dealer, they gave me the code (mine was BRG) and I ordered the parts aftermarket.

If you are going to do the work yourself, look up the info on the brake service mode in the uconnect system. It allows you to retract the electronic parking brake in the rear caliper pistons. It will save time and effort.
