Just ordered a Jeep KL Trailhawk 2014 plated MY15 all options except towpack, it will be replacing a MY13 Subaru WRX, should be a little different, am thinking of joining the port macquarie 4WD club and do a little bit of 4WDing, the scratchless type first off lol

Just got an email from my dealer telling me they will throw in $1000 worth of free accessories, waddya reckon i Should choose.

 

Ask them if they'll apply it to the purchase price?

 

rock rails!!! if they have them!! that would be priority gotta have acc... the rest... is up to you.. but for sure get some sliders/rock rails..

dont read into this, YOUR JEEP WILL PROGRAM ITS SELF TO HOW YOU DRIVE IT, SO DRIVE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT, IF YOU WANT TO SET IT RIGHT. i would also suggest putting it into some rough conditions during the programming stage of its life, also expect to hear some clanging noises the first month coming from the drive system.. dog clutches are loud when the computer is in programming mode.. so expect a month and a half give or take) random noises and minor jerking when pulling out.. when its lil brain is satisfied, it will smooth out.. just dont baby it because the TH is hardcore and will surprise you.. if you have the 4 banger.. do not dip the nose in any place water may go over the nose.. no pushing water. etc.. the intake is ram air in front and above of the radiator. nothing to stop it.. it will in fact take a drink. v6 wont have that issue.

345$$$ and will be worth it.. in places where you go up and over the KL does make contact in the middle, and the skid plates take the brunt, but.. angles and shifts happen which can result in dent. scratch i dont mind.. dents i do..

also, you can use a hi-lift / farmjack with these things...
