Default Trailhawk build

New member to Cherokee Forum and XJs. I come from the Wrangler world, having owned and built three. I decided last fall to sell my LJ and build an XJ. I felt it fit my needs a bit better, 4 doors and room for camping and expo equipment.

I bought her, a 2000 XJ Sport, completely stock. I named her the Trailhawk. I've liked the name and emblem since Jeep came out with the Grand Cherokee Trailhawk. Unfortunately they are using it for the new Cherokee.

First few things I did, included:

-Rubicon Express 4.5 lift with Bilstein 5100s
-ARB front bumper and Warn winch
-Smittybilt rear bumper/tire carrier
-32 inch BFG M/Ts on 17 inch stock Rubicon 10A wheels

I have since added

-Napier Precision hood vents
-Cowl Snorkel/Intake (Thanks Dukie)
-Homemade roof rack with surround LED Light Bars
-Homemade limb risers
-Leather seats from ZJ

In the last couple of weeks I have installed my front Dana 30 Lokka locker. I have one for the rear 8.25 on my work bench but have not had time to install it yet.

Haha. I can't even imagine those on the trails, but maybe I'd be surprised.

I had decided on Trailhawk and had customer decals made before I even had the XJ lol.

Thanks bud.

I havnt had any trouble to this point. I've run through the rain and had the hood submarine when I went though a water crossing.

I also liked the price. I got them for $80 with a 10% off coupon code. I can't remember if it was one i found on CherokeeForum or NAXJA.

Sweet looking XJ! That thing is great! Do you have a side picture by any chance? I just wanted to see how the bumpers look together (front and rear) and how far out the tire carrier hangs that spare tire.

Thanks!!

This is the best I have on my phone. I can get you a better pic, but it won't be until later.
