Default NEED HELP Cherokee trailhawk wheels on a sport…

I’m looking to upgrade the wheel on my 2014 Cherokee Sport 4x4. I found a great deal on some 22 trailhawk wheels with only 8k miles on them.

The seller insist that they will only fit a TH though. my mechanic says he thinks they’ll fit. I looked up the specs vs my factory wheel and they’re close.

17 inch
5 X 110 bolt pattern
31mm vs 41mm offset
Tires are 245 vs 225

Anyone done this before? Did it work? What was your experience? Rubbing? Photos

Should work. The wheel and tire are 1/2" wider. The change in offset will move everything out 1/2". So 1/4" more clearance on the inside face, and sticking 3/4" further out. You might clip the front edge of the fender with the tires.

https://www.wheel-size.com/size/jeep/cherokee/2014/ shows the 7.5" were oem on the 3.2, and I think that's what's on my TH. The trailhawk is essentially the same, just with a 1" lift.

they should work as the trailhawk has bigger calipers and maybe a bigger rotor, not 100% sure. the sport is the basic model, so you have smaller calipers and either same size or smaller rotors.

take the the jeep and have him let you test fit one at worst you might need a spacer.

I don't believe there would be an issue. The bolt pattern is 5 x 4.5" for all Cherokee KL's, regardless of model. The tires will have thicker sidewalls though, but that doesn't really matter. The TPMS sensors, if included, should transfer over as well.

Correction -- The bolt pattern on the 2014+ Cherokee (KL) is 5x110mm.
