Default low voltage code

I recently removed my old battery and installed a new battery into my 2019 Jeep Cherokee Latitude. The low voltage code was alarmed when battery was disconnected and I need to clear it as the engine light wont go off. Can someone tell me the steps to doing this please.

Normally replacing the battery shouldn't cause a check engine light, or it should go away on it's own after a bit. If you don't have a code reader, many parts stores will read and reset the codes for free. It's possible the check engine light is on for a different reason.

Thank you so much. I will check with the parts store to see what is going on if it's not related to the disconnected battery and replacement battery. The engine light wasn't on before the battery switch and someone has said to unplug positive battery and put to negative one for a few seconds and then attach positive back again but I think I will stick with you suggestion and see if the parts store has a code reader.
