Default List of Jeep engines with and without EES/BSG

I have tried several google searches, but am unable to find a list, or any information at all. I must be using poor search terms, because I doubt I’m the first person wondering about this

Putting aside whether either system is good or bad, how can I find out which engines, or model years used these systems?

My first experience driving a Cherokee today. It was a 2019 with the 2.0, and I was surprised by how quiet the car was at freeway speeds.

Thanks for any help.

Cool

Which Jeep models? This is a KL forum, not an XJ forum. Why are you interested?

Only the HEMI's in the Grand Cherokee don't have ESS. Everything else does, unfortunately.

You CAN permanently program it off with an OBD II programming device from OBDGenie.
