I have a few engines and transmissions sitting here in my shop from Jeeps I have parted out. They are all in good shape and working fine.
1992 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L HO longblock. 306k miles, very dirty but was running when removed, came out of a driver - $200
1988 Jeep Cherokee XJ 4.0L longblock. 161k miles, very dirty but was a strong engine. Water pump is leaking a bit, but probably would want to replace that anyway. - $400
1988 Jeep Cherokee XJ AW4 automatic transmission. 161k miles, working great when removed, no issues with it. Torque converter included, came out of a 4x4 Jeep. $300
1992 Jeep Cherokee XJ AX15 5-spd manual transmission. 306k miles but working great when removed. Came out of a 2-wheel-drive Jeep. $100
1988 Jeep Cherokee XJ NP231 transfer case. 161k miles, working great when removed. Solid case and good working tcase. $200
The engine/trans/tcase out of the 88 XJ will be available later this week as they are still in the Jeep. The other are out and ready to go.

Dana 35 non c-clip axle with 3.55 gears, 161k miles - $150
Dana 30HP high pinion front axle with 3.55 gears, 161k miles - $200

Did you pull that 88XJ Tranny and T-case by chance? I'm out in Lejeune with a 2WD comanche that needs a manual AX-15 and a 231 to get her proper! Let me know!
