Got to say, I would buy that, it doesn't have to many doors.
Still waiting on the KL to grow on me, but so far its a 4WD Dodge Dart...

The pictures I've seen and the cv-axle angles are going to be big issues with any serious lift on the KL...
Wish Jeep gave it some other name besides Cherokee still....

When I hear something can't be done I think about this:

Apple: "The new iPhone IOS can not be jail-broken."
Community: *Less than 24 hours later the new IOS has been jail-broken*

... and yes I know they said feasible.

That solid axle kit for the Liberty from Rock Lizard is about 10 grand + the cost of the axles. I bet they could fab something like that for the KL, but in the end that a hell of alot of money to have something as capable as a 2000 dollar XJ.

It's just not worth it. I love my Trailhawk and I'm sure someday they will make a work around.

3.2 V6 every option but the panoramic sunroof. I didn't feel like dishing out another $3000 just for that!

Stock Trailhawk

2 inch lift

Looks like 2 inches won't allow bigger tires than is already on there, looks better though.

So Rock Road Outfitters have designed a KL roof rack that just bolts right up, also note rock sliders.

Not in production yet so don't bother looking for them on the website, no word on the website when they will be available either.

This is a KL they have in their shop they've been trying to design a lift for evidently, this is a pic a customer took with his camera phone.

No that's been done in Photoshop, distances estimated and wheels lowered (or body raised).

I had a thought this morning regarding this thread. If the control arm work is unfeasible (since it's such a pain), how are they supposed to be serviced normally? 10hr job?

Also what about putting some kind of aftermarket spindle on with adjustable camber? Or some adapter

Relax, the dealership won't mind making money hand over fist on labor.

I think even if someone DID make a economical lift it's a mute point, wheel wells are too narrow to fit bigger tires and doesn't appear to be much you could trim.

A couple more inches for the stock tires wouldn't hurt though.

I was looking at the wells and I think an 1-1.5 could be taken off or even maybe have slim aftermarket ones made.

Ahha! I was wondering this. Are you talking about trimming sheet metal or plastic flares?
