I found this air filter under Jeep

I found this air filter under Jeep
I've got a 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude and found small air filter, thinking it fell out of the Jeep, but cannot figure out where it goes?? see pics.

doesn't look like a jeep part, plus you should have covers underneath that cover like 3/4 of the jeep so if it fell off it would have been rattling in there and it would not freely fall to the floor.
