Followed a KL off the street into a gas station and the hatch was up for apparently no reason.
(No crazy long cargo or anything like that)
Watched it go in through the drive through for coffee and sit in line moving ahead after each car hatch wide open.
Employee on smoke break told them their hatch was up. Driver was surprised.
Is it really hard to notice the hatch is up or was this person really clueless in general?
I drive an '89 and a '96 xj and both owners manuals say not to drive with the hatch up due to exhaust gasses entering the cabin.

Wow that person must be VERY hard of hearing. My ex gf had a Jeep Liberty that I borrowed to pick up a Honda XR50 dirtbike. I left the rear glass open. not the tailgate just the tailgate glass because I didnt want her Jeep to smell like gas fumes. For the half our ride home it was annoyingly loud in there. Plus all the interior lights were on
