Clunking/creaking sound coming from front end
I recently got a 2020 Cherokee and I’ve noticed it makes a strange noise when turning while or at very slow speeds. It’s a little strange because there’s no noise when I hit a speed bump or get past 15/20 mph. Additionally, whenever it is raining I don’t notice the noise. Any help I could get would be appreciated.

if it's a clicking or cracking sound it might be your axle or axles. I hear it when I'm turning really slowly or lets say I'm backing out of a parking spot and when I turn the steering wheel to go forward I hear it. the slower you go the louder it sounds. If I do a turn at a faster speed I don't hear it or feel it.
had the same issue with my 05 neon, but didn't do anything about it until I got to the point that I could hear it when I was doing a fast turn. that's when I eventually changed both axles earlier this year and the sound is now gone. basically I'm going to wait until it gets worse on my jeep before I change them out in the meantime prices go down.
if you still have warranty on yours then you can try to take it to the dealer, but be ready for them to tell you there is nothing wrong if it's only doing it a really slow speeds.

What was very common when these first came out was the upper strut bearings binding and making noise. If it does it when the vehicle sits still, have someone feel the front springs as you slowly turn the steering wheel, if any bumpiness or roughness is felt in the spring, it’s most likely the upper strut bearings. Chrysler had a bulletin to grease them but it seemed impossible to access it well enough, so I always replaced them and told Chrysler the bulletin procedure didn’t fix the problem. It won’t hurt anything, unless they come apart, which I’ve never seen happen. I’d say 99.9% of binding strut bearings will just make noise and be fine for the life of the vehicle.
