Default Clicking noise on low speed braking

My ‘21 cherokee 3.2 which i bought new as a leftover in late Jan 22 developed a “click” when slowing while braking at what I’d call idle speeds. So when i apply brakes at less then 10 or so mph it does this. I have to say it didn’t always do it, but I can’t bet my life on it. I made an appt at the dealer and asked a tech ride with me to allow me to demonstrate. The service manger did the ride along, initially said it sounded like normal gear lash, but then said it may be strut mounts.

So i left it. Called today, the second day they had it, and was told they couldn’t find anything wrong. When i pressed the service writer to check with the service manager who acknowledged the noise, she called me back after 20 min or so, saying there is a tech bulletin that states that clicking noise may be produced when warmed up, but they would like me to demonstrate it to the tech when i come to pick it up. Which kinda annoys me since i already did that song and dance.

At least its documented now, i guess…

Anyone familiar with this technical bulletin? Tx.
