What type of cargo carrier are you using ? Aluminum or steel and why? What kind of hitch and what size basket? Now that we have a cherokee limited I don't want trash and gas cans inside because of the smell. Thank you for your help.

 

I ended up getting a aluminum cargo carrier from harbor freight and a dual hitch extension to raise the carrier above the exhaust. The carrier works great and was very ease to assemble. Getting ahead of my self. First I had to install a hitch which I purchased from etrailer. Lots of videos on how to install. Hardest part is making your self cut the fascia for the install.

 

I have looked at those, they look like a good carrier for the price
