I'm gonna post this ONCE. This forum is NOT for tearing down the new Cherokee.
It's for those who own them. They are fellow Jeep owners as well as we are.
I was around at the dealer when they said the XJ would be a failure as well as the Wrangler.
These new owners deserve a welcome and some support.

Wasn't a thought when the XJs came out. Let history take it's course.

I am divided on the new KL. I actually admit I do like the styling... until it gets to the rear. I think they should've tied the front unique 'raptor eye' styling into the rear somehow instead of dropping a mini-van/SUV rear that looks kind of plain.
I would own one simply for a good fuel economy 4x4 with the 4-cylinder, maybe even for the wife. The ol' trusty not-as-fuel-efficient XJ serves ultra blizzard/SHTF duty and any towing needs. But like I said, I will admit I like the styling and ingenuity. I hope it takes off, and maybe Fiat can introduce some confident reliability here (especially in the trans area....*cough* CVT *cough*)
