All boys and 3 yr old and 8 will ride with me on any obstacle. Momma and 10 yr old would rather get out and watch. Lol

My 12 yr old and wife will ride on anything but the 9 yr old get's scared on some stuff and the baby can't so mom ends up getting out with the two of them to watch.

The 9 year old shows zero interest in it. To her, riding down trails in the woods is just more time riding in the car. She'll sit and play video games in the backseat and continuously ask when we're going back. Drives me bonkers.

Sounds like my son-who is 7. Funny, my daughter is 5 & likes wheeling....well, except for the "tipping" parts.

My 12 yr olds birthday party consisted of a gaggle of about 15 girls and 2 boys.

It was during the summer so we had an outside party.

During the last half of the party I gave rides down the trails at my house in my trail rig that's all chopped up. 3 girls at a time in 5-point harnesses. There's quite a few spots that get "tippy". Every single girl went for a ride and none of them complained or got scared. The two boys refused to get near the Jeep. Much less ride. lol All the girls gave them a hard time.

Back to the JF subject. What's there for food? Should I prepare to feed the family for every meal or will there be food available for some of the meals? Restaurants in the immediate vicinity? I don't see it mentioned on the event info.

Lots of fast food around. Tomorrow night I'm going to the Pub to eat dinner at that meet and greet. Pop tarts for breakfast, fast food lunch (there's a good bit around) or just snacks, they have a meal ticket you can buy but it's pricey and I will probably go back the Rocco's pub or grab McDonald's.

There were no food vender there last year. I can't remember any. This year there are tons, so I've been told by a deputy. If you liked last year you will absolutely love this years event. Great weather, awesome food (hopefully), lots of vendors, nice trails, plenty of folks & some cool rigs.

We're here. I've seen about 6000 Jeeps. 4 of them were XJs.
