Default XJ #2

Hey guys! Long time site lurker, just finally getting around to joining since I just got my 2nd XJ.

First XJ was a 89 that I bought off of a buddy for $500. I got it so cheap due to none other than over-heating issues. I replaced the coolant bottle, added the volvo cap, bled the cooling system and it ran good as new other than leaky injectors. So i swapped in a set of 19lb ford injectors then focused on the rest of the jeep. I cut fenders, pieced together a 4" lift complete with drop brackets, regeared to 4:10s, tossed on a set of 33" wrangler mtrs, a snorkel, bedlined the interior and gave it everything I could Jeep was pretty indestructible until the oil pump decided to fail. So I swapped in a rebuilt engine in and drove it a few thousand miles before I sadly sold it to fund another project

Sooo that brings us up to last month. I'd been really missing my old XJ for the past year or so. I'd been DD'ing a Honda Civic and just didn't really like the car. So I put it on a local site looking to trade for a bone stock XJ. First offer I got on an XJ was for a one owner 2door '95 with 159xxx original miles...plus cash on their end...I jumped on the offer

All the progress for the current Jeep I'll be making a build thread for soon as I'm done typing this. Be sure to check it out and leave some feedback. Look forward to sharing some info with you guys and being a part of the community!

Oh and since I know how forums are...here's a couple pics of the old XJ
