WJ Overland owner here...
Jeep owner from way back. First was an '82 J-10 Honcho (how many remember that beast?), two Wranglers ('89 & '94 YJs) and four Grand Cherokees ('95 & '98 ZJs, two '02 WJs). All 4x4s except the '98 ZJ. Three of the four GCs were the ex's daily drivers.
Currently own an '02 Overland. I got divorced in '06 and the wife took her '02 (Laredo Sport 4x4) with her, missed it more than her so I went out and bought an '02 Overland, LOL.
It's my daily driver but occasional play toy too. Although I own a highly modified, lifted truck, I'll still take my WJ camping, some fishing and even in the field hunting if it's small game or dove shooting.
Just a BB on it with 265/65/17 Nitto Terra Grapplers. No performance mods save a K&N drop-in, but a few mods I've done myself to make "play-time" a bit more fun.
98% of the time I carry a home-made light bar on the front:
although occasionally I'll put my winch on (hand-me-down when I got a bigger one on my truck):
Or when I fish the surf or intercoastal, I'll slip my "fishin' rig" in the receiver (I've taken about as many nice Redfish off the front of my Jeep as I have out of my boat):
Bought it in '06 with 61k on the clock, hit 100k last month, trying for 200k, LOL...

Long time Bass tournament fisherman, just now getting into the "salt water thing"...
About the only other "mods" I've done is I mounted a power plug under the front bumper to power my little "hot swap" toys for the front and used a wireless relay to power them from my unused Home-Link buttons and that's pretty much it...

Thanks, been a member of 4x4 truck based forums for years, matter of fact I'm an admin on a Ram site, but I've never really gotten into Jeep based forums. I guess since I haven't had a Wrangler since 2001 and never really gave much thought to (Grand) Cherokee sites, especially since I mod the hell out of my trucks, but my GCs are my daily drivers for the most part and as such, I don't really find the need to do much, if any, performance mods on a 4.7 HO based vehicle.
Nice looking site, glad to be here.
