Default Windshield replacement on Cherokee Overland

My windshield was cracked recently and is been replaced now by Safelite. I have requested they replace it with OEM. The picture of current windshield is attached here. What does the yellow lines on the right side of the windshield mean?

What does the yellow line mean on the windshield?

Never seen that before. Looks like a Defrost symbol. What country are you in?

The windshield in the picture the OEM from the factory. I just got it replaced by Safelite.

Never seen one like that. Looks like nobody else here has either. Maybe it's not factory? Been replaced before?
Perhaps check with the dealer's parts department.

I work with a few people with the new cherokee's. I walked past one and saw those lines on their windshield on the driver side, I didn't look on the passenger. They're ice defrosters and apparently are in different sides depending on year, chrysler apparently moved em.

Update, my coworkers Cherokee has em on both sides.

Maybe consulting the owner's manual for your vehicle would yield some answers.
What year is it? Perhaps moving this thread to a different sub-forum would help?

Wiper defrost, common on newer vehicles with cold weather package
