Welcome
Back in the world of XJ's after a 5 year hiatus. The previous XJ ('94) is in the custody of my sister who insists she needs 4wd to drive 3 paved miles to work each day. I have just purchased a stock '97 with 120k. I get to pick it up in a couple of weeks and I can't wait!
First mod will probably be an injector swap to obtain more acceptable gas mileage (granted that's what the scooter is for...).
I'm looking forward to posting on there and swapping ideas back and forth!
Also, about my name, I'm a snake researcher here in Tn.

Thanks, I love what I do. It's always fun because the river that I do most of my research in runs along a greenway in the middle of Murfreesboro. I constantly have people and their dogs in the water with me and if I have a snake I always go over and show it to them so they know not to kill them. Most people respond well when I tell them the snakes in that area of the river aren't venomous.
Since this jeep is my DD I won't be doing anything hardcore with it but hopefully I'll get to see some snakes out on the trails.
