Viking considering his first Cherokee( new to the forum).
Hi,
I'm based in Oslo Norway and I am looking to buy a veteran Cherokee. I have looked at a 1976 Jeep Cherokee S, 360ci 4bbl, Quadra-Trac 4x4, AZ Jeep. I do not know much about what typical defects I should look out for on a car like this and I am therefor hoping some of you guys can help.
My father had a similar car when I was a kid and we loved it, but I remember it spending quite a lot of time in the work shop.
I am looking forward to hearing from you and hopefully to soon own my childhood favorite car again!

Not too many full size Cherokees running around.
General stuff like carb condition, any leaks anywhere, rust on the floors or anywhere really. Suspension and steering components should be checked out. Things like that.
Whatever you would normally check on an old vehicle.
