We are a family of Jeeps. My son has two Jeeps; a '12 Liberty Artic Edition and my old 98 XJ. At just over 300,000 miles, I gave him the XJ. It finally needed a new/used engine, which he installed. His XJ has appx 375,000 miles on it now. He uses it for his go to work vehicle and play in the sand toy.
My wife and I own three Jeeps. Hers are a 2009 KK Liberty and a 'new' 98 XJ. My daily driver is 'our' 2003 WJ Jeep Grand Cherokee, with almost 230,000 miles on the odometer. The WJ has the rock solid 4.0 engine.
Almost every year (except this year), we take our Jeeps out to the trails in Colorado and Utah. We love it out west. We also like to hit the trails in the Mannistee National Forest in north-central Michigan. It is a beautiful area.
We bought our current XJ last spring. When I saw this Cherokee with 84,800 miles on it, I told my wife we needed to buy it. It is in relatively good contion, with a few minor flaws. Hey, it's a Jeep!
