Default upgrading a 1996 xj

Hey fellows greetings from Jordan ,,,
I've bought a new 4.0 manual transmission engine lifted 3" series 1 rough country with an K&N filter and an MT 31X10.5X15 tiers . And im wondering what can i upgrade it to become an offroad car where i can use it on sand dunes and rock crawling. So please anyone can help me out thank you

Looks like youve got a good starting point. Id add another inch of lift, invest in armor, upgrade to better steering, look into upgrading axles to accommodate bigger tires..

Thank you but the problem is i can't put an extra inch since the regulations here a bit strict so the maximum is 3" lift

Cut your fenders, add bumpstops, run 33s. Add some armor...

It might do the job , how can i increase the HP ?? Since it is kind of weak on 4H mode on start most of the time i use the 4L mode and its doing great

If you want extra power look into a cat back system, bored TB, upgraded injectors...

Nice looking Jeep.

Changing to lower (higher numerical) gears in the axles will give more power in 4H, without doing any work to the engine.

He is saying gear your axles..itll give you more power in 4x4. Gear to 4.10 or 4.56 ratio
