Hi everyone this is my first post at this forum.Right now i have a 01 ford ranger and a 02 kia spectra.Well i guess my question is I am thinking about trading the car i have this girl who wants the car for a 94 jeep grand Cherokee Limited it has 141k my car has 93 and i will be gettiing 1000 on top.Now i know asking should i do it is all up to me really and what i want but i dont know much about the jeep other then what i can see such as very clean inside and out also seems to drive ok.Looks like it has a small coolant leak if its just a hose thats not to bad.So my big question is how reliable are the jeeps(also relize this question is based on the history of the jeep its self)im thinking ill have to do a headgasket in it one day soon but im not a huge fan of kia so i think i might do it any thoughts? TY all

 

Welcome from Wisconsin. Go for it. And I'm not a fan of KIA. But they have gotten better in the last 10 years.

My ex-wife owns one, Serves her right (justice is mine, say-th the lord) When I divorced her in '91. She got my pristine 1978 Cutlass Calais (bucket seats and full gauges down the center console) Then she turned around and traded it off for a Dodge Omni (no power anything). Probably to **** me off. Which it still does!

 

There's a gent around here got one, tends to stand out not the sort of car you normally see here.

 

only thing she hates is the v8 and the fact that i will take that thing to a jeep weekend and she what she can do or just take it on some basic trails around havasu

 

If I read that correctly,nothing wrong with a jeep weekend.
Looks a nice area,worst things you could be doing.

 

If i get this one im looking into getting a older wagoner that has some motor problems the guy wants 350 but ill see if i can get it for 2

 

Anyone have some video links for stock jeeps and what they can do?
