Hi,
My wife drives a 2007 Commander (purchased it New), just got my 16 year old son a 2002 Grand Cherokee (no license yet). And I just picked up a 1999 Cherokee Classic Sport. I have owned 4 other jeeps ,79 cj5 was my favorite until someone wanted it more then I could lock it up. I plan to put a small lift, maybe 31" tires.
The Day it came home I took the seats, interior trim, and carpet. The only rust I found was the driver side floor, there was a plug that had growen from 2" to about 4" and a few other small holes. I first removed loose rust, then used the POR_15 system. Then I formed a fiberglass pan to cover the entier floor and up the sides. Next is the front u-joints.
185,000 miles drives nicer then my 2002, paid 1800
