Proper Engine Oil for "98 Jeep 4.0 Liter Cherokee Sport

Proper Engine Oil for "98 Jeep 4.0 Liter Cherokee Sport
Did I buy the correct Engine Oil today at Canadian Tire?; I own as the title of thread says, '98 Jeep Cherokee, 4.0 litre engine: Quaker State: SAE 5W-30 High Mileage, Synthetic Blend. Just wondering if this Engine Oil is good for my engine and is one of the best blends??

Welcome to the family and the forum... lot's of good stuff here... just ask 
You might want to try posting your question in the proper section to get a better response...but just a word of warning.... asking about engine oil on here for your 4.0 is going to start a debate. lol.
There are many like myself that prefer to run Shell Rotella T6.... it's a diesel motor oil...but has a great detergent package and has extra goodies for our old I6's...especially for the valve-train.
However, that being said.... the most important thing is just to go off of what the manufacturer states for viscosity...and change it at regular intervals... that's more important than the specific oil that you choose to run in the motor.
