Default Silent1jt intro thread

whats up guys/gals, just joined the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm from Arizona and own a 1993 Cherokee 4dr. This is actually my first off-road vehicle so I'm very new to this. I've owned imports ever since I got my license. I just got it about 3 weeks ago so have not much done to much too it. I will try to post pics soon and hope to get to learn from you guys the off-road game.

On to the mods (all which had when i got the jeep):
4.0 engine with port & polish head
ported intake
373 differential
bigger injectors
shift kit
flowmaster exhaust
relay box of some sort to hook up a tach and not have the tach limiter
cold air intake (which ill replace for a new one because it looks old)
4 or 6inch Cali-lift on ProComp shocks and spacer (not too sure how much it really is lifted)
15inch chrome rims on 31 tires
H.I.D.s

other than that its pretty much with a lot of little things that need to be fixed but are not a big deal.

Welcome to our forum.

From the top of the axle tube to the bottom of the subframe is 6 3/4 inches stock. Any higher distance is your lift. 6" is the rear.

park next to a stock jeep and measure the difference in height. the easiest way. cheap parts.... junk yards, or if you're a man of $$$ you'll find one supplier i.e. rusty's, quadrtech... that you'll stick to religously.

where in southern AZ tuscon, yuma, nogales... it's a big state. i lived in PHX for 10 years. great trails out there.

practice on the dirt roads and get it dusty, then graduate to rock trails and get it dented... remember, wounds heal and chicks dig scars.

And one of the most inaccurate. Its really not that hard to slide under with a tape measure and actually get a measurement. It will literally take a minute per side.

im in Yuma, AZ not much of trails down here, just a bunch of desert and dunes lol i took it out to the desert the other day to practice and it handles pretty good. And you're right bout chicks digging scars, i noticed the attention difference after i got the cherokee
