I have been gone for awhile because my son was driving the XJ. Well he is a senior in high school and has decided that good gas milage is important for going away to college, so he has bought a Honda Civic. But that means that I now get to play with the XJ.

So far the 2000 XJ has a 3" Rough Country lift, 33" tires, and trimmed front wheel wells. I have built the center section of a new front bumper ready to mount a winch.

I have plans to build steel flat fender flares, rocks sliders, and eventually a custom rear bumper with swivel out spare tire mount.

We have done some mild wheeling in it so far and it has done very well. But right now it has a bad squeal that I cant find after it warms up, and a driveline vibration in the rear driveline that I think is being caused by having the wrong pinion angle after the lift.

I am in Missouri, just south of St. Louis and am usually looking for someone to go wheeling with, so hit me up if you know or have a good place.
