Rear drum break problems
I have a 96 Cherokee country, it seems like the springs inside my drum on the right side are weak and don't pull the brake pads pack after they've been compressed out to stop. Anyone have an idea of what the problem may be?
Disc brake conversion soon, need to solve this problem till then.

As the other guy said, you will get many more responses if you ask in there (not many people frequent this area). Oh and Welcome to Cherokee Forum! I was going to tell you just rip them off and put disks on but it looks you already had that in mind.

Doesnt look like OP has a Grand. I expect a mod to move the thread to OEM Tech...anywho, it sounds like you could have a bad wheel cylinder. If the shoes are about due for replacing, you might as well get all new stuff.
