I am now the proud owner of a 2001 Grand Cherokee Limited!!!!!! I was originally looking to go with the Cherokee, but couldn't find a decent 4wd rig out here that would be a good daly driver for the wife also. There were Cherokees out there but most needed at least a mini build up to get dependable.
As I was looking through craigslist for that Cherokee, I noticed there were an abundance of Grand Cherokees out there, for a lot less too.
Found a great deal on a Limited that has all the bells and whistles, even a factory installed 2" lift, no dents and paint is immaculate with only 126000 on the clock.
Its not without some issues though, radiator fan is not working and I'm getting a P0740 code, torque converter. So here I go with my next Jeep project. YEAH!
