One more modified XJ on the road in Washington.
Hello all.
I received my 1996 XJ as a wedding gift from my aunt, almost a year ago. It had a bad transmission, moldy interior, flat tire, and was overall pretty gross. She had owned it since new and didn't take much care of it. She said that if I was up to the task of fixing it, I could have it. I said heck yes.
Here we are now and it has a new(er), fully functional transmission, rubber floors, and a couple of minor visual mods to hold me over until I can afford to get serious and lift it.
This is my first 4x4 vehicle, so it's going to be a fun process learning how to modify this thing. I'm used to lowering everything and going fast, so this lift and go slow concept is completely new to me.
