NOOB from LA - 2000 Cherokee Sport!
Hey gang!
I'm a n00b from here in sunny Los ANgeles, and I have just purchased my first Adventuremobile - a 2000 Cherokee Sport 4x4 with inline 6 and only 100k on the clock and it's clean clean clean, zero mechanical issues and runs like a dream!
My questions to you experts and geniuses and Ultra-Hobbyists are these:
What problems are the most common to look for - what parts are usually first to s@#t the bed and go south?
What are some upgrades I can do to make it even more bulletproof? (ie: battery, starter, throttle, suspension etc.)
I would like to upgrade the suspension, but I don't really wanna lift it at all - what's the top 'o' the line choice (or choices) for this?
Any suggestions on a good trailer hitch tire carrier?
Thanks a million, team. I'm very geeked to be a part of the "Buy American" 4x4 community!

Also, How does one post photos directly? Copying the html doesn't seem to werk...
Thanks!

Hi and welcome to the forum
Watch out for your head, considering its a 0331 head. Just make sure there's always coolant topped off and all cooling components are excellent. 0331 heads are prone to cracking.
Get 784 injectors, they help with adding maybe 1-2 more miles per gallon and better throttle response.
Change all battery cables to 4 awg if u plan to stay stock, or 2 awg if u plan to run additional lights or devices such as winches etc.
Replace all fluids so u have peace of mind
