Hi, my name is Robert and i'm a newbie from the Netherlands. I'm the owner of a 4.0 WJ after having three XJ's. I've done lots of things on the WJ like new Pistons in the engine and it's really a comfortable car but last week i ran into a 01-1999 XJ and i couldn't withstand this one so i'm the new owner of this XJ.
I changed the tires a few days ago for toyo open country's 235/15/75 and did a custom seat swap. The XJ doesn't have the leather interior so i changed the seats for Jaguar XJ seats.
The XJ is a great car. I had my first XJ about 25 years ago and it drove perfect with more than 350.000 miles. It got into an accident so i had to say goodbye to this great car. Than i found a '91 red high output XJ with white leather interior. A beautiful car. I had it for 5 years until i ran into a '97 facelift.
That was the best one i had. It was really comfortable and because i do a lot of live music at beach clubs i have to use this car for driving on the beach. After driving it for 8 years there were a lot of things to do on this car and that should cost me a lot of money so i sold the XJ. I found a WJ in a like new condition and i is really a nice car to drive but i decided to search for another XJ. The WJ is for sale now. To be honest, the XJ gives me more Jeep feeling than a WJ.
