Okay, I have always had a fascination with xj's but have just recently decided to make the purchase. So I found one that I love that already has a 4" lift, and comes with two sets of wheels and tires (32x10.5 with street tread and 33x12.5 mud terrains) my ONLY concern is that it has a tendency to wander while going down the road. So I came to this forum for advice... Should I take this jeep or start from scratch with one that doesn't have steering/front suspension issues? Any help would be amazing.

Also, this would be my dd as well as a toy for occasional light trails

Welcome to CF. Pass on it and keep looking for a stocker and do your own work on it.

 

That's what I've been trying to tell myself all along. If love to find a two door xj that's in good shape. I have had poor luck finding ANYTHING in my area that's in decent shape..

The seller said it was rough country, but I didn't look into it any more than that. Decided against that jeep.

 

Well I drove one last night that I absolutely loved. Most likely picking it up saturday! What does everyone think?
