Newbie just trying to say hello
Whats up Cherokee guys.
Im diving head on into this blind so please, take it easy on me.
My name is Clifford and I just got myself a 1985 Cherokee 4x4 with the 2.8 V6.
Body is flawless, original paint, interior is super dirty and is missing the headliner.
Engine is carbureted and can be in much better shape.
Anywho, what should be first on my mod list?
Engine, Suspension, Exterior, Interior, Wheels and Tires?
Im looking into making it my daily. Maybe. . .
Thanks for any help

Thanks for the input guys, i appreciate it.
I know I should look and search around the forum first before I ask but I figure you guys are a lot more patient than what I would assume.
Anyhow, is it best to drop money on fixing and making the carbureted V6 better or dropping in the 4.0 straight six? (or possibly even the 2.5 4 banger)
If its the latter, would it be a straight drop in swap with the same mounts and all? or will I need lots of mods for it? And please factor in the smaller budget.
The reason why I ask is that the carbed V6 has a lot of lag or simply put it feels like it lacks power. Obviously Im no mechanic, and im not sure if a simple tune up will do. (Maybe I should go and do that)
Thanks again.
