Hey guys, i just bought a 97 cherokee. (picking it up tomorrow) 160k miles, great shape, super clean. I was wondering what i should do as fair as maintenance, im gonna do an oil change and air filter for sure because i dont know when it was done last. What else would be a good idea to inspect/replace..? i know very little about jeeps which is why i joined the forum... i am planning on doing most of the work myself, with your help ofcourse

The jeep will be my 2nd car, i am mainly going to drive it in the winter since my other car isnt really set up for unpredictable chicago weather

Welcome! The '97 is a great year, the first year for the redesign. Probably just the normal evaluations, check out the levels and conditions of all fluids. Make sure it can handle daily driving like brakes, steering, suspension, etc. Hope this helps.

Sweet veedub, liking the vette wheels and stance.
