Hi! I'm new to the Jeep world. I moved on from being in the import world, Honda/Acura to be exact for 7 years and it was getting old. Plus, I've always wanted a Cherokee for some reason!

Anyway, I bought her last Weds with only 92k original miles. The dealer wanted $3,995 for it and I talked them down to $2,900 out the door. They took it and I was a happy man. It needs a few work done to it, such as the passenger rear window doesn't work and the passenger front window switch won't work at all. A few odds and ends.

Enough blah and here are the pictures!

Not quite wheeling, too dry to try anything that day.

Thanks again! I have a small question. What would be a better choice for me? 2 inch lift or 3 inch lift? Does a 3 inch lift must have new shocks?

welcome, and nice find on the jeep!!!!!!
i just installed a rough country 3", & new rear springs. the kit came with new shocks, and even a 2" should have new shocks installed. whatever size you go with you should get an adjustable trac bar.

not sure on the rear sway bar,but its prolly to let the suspension flex more, kinda like the front disconnects do, but i need the trac bar on the front of mine. after the lift just the pass. rubs now.

Get more flex in the rear with the sway bar removed and it doesn't really effect the handling by much.

ditch your rear sway. at almost 4" of lift i dont notice a difference. people say to wheel your jeep stock to get a feel for it and see what it can do, and how far it can go.

I'm going to try remove it sometimes tomorrow when I can and then drive it to see if I notice anything different.
