Default Newb from Pittsburgh

Whats up? Name is Joe and I'm a noob from the Pittsburgh area. Well sorta, closer to the airport than Pittsburgh. Anyhoo, just have a few Jeeps. Nothing crazy or spectacular but they get me around.

1992 XJ, 4.0/AW4/NP231 HP44/9in, 31s for daily driving, 33s for the woods and I don't really like the 38s. So they'll go in the garage till later.

Hey Joe, glad to see ya made it over.

I somehow doubt "newb" describes you though. You've probably got more wheeling experience than 3/4 of this forum put together. lol

2 or 3 weekends a month camping/wheeling, then usually a day or two thru the week at a local spot.... When you coming to Wellsville? We're getting a new permanent camp @ Village OHV now that Oak Tree sold out.

My TJ is a mess right now, and I jsut bought that XJ off Ryan Dunn, so I'm in the process of either: A- putting my focus on getting the TJ back together, or B- building a mild XJ build.

Hopefully both soon.
Then I'm really hoping to do some Wellsville and Rauch Creek trips a couple times this summer.

btw: That kitchen chair in the 7 is a riot.

Dunbar... And yea the 7 pretty much just plows my 1/2mile driveway. I built a back blade for it. Actually works pretty good. Won't have the cash to make a Rausch trip anytime soon. I'm broke till April/May.

The nice thing about Wellsville is, we have a camp. Its our camp, and I'm out there every other weekend so I know just about everyone. And my house is 11 miles away, god forbid a catastrophic failure there is a lot of "outs". Thats the main reason I wheel there so often, the people out there are a helluva lot cooler than what the internet leads you to believe. And if you blow it up, tow it to my house and its safe till you can fix it. Or if its simple I have a welder, torches, tools and a garage. Tons of spare parts.

Ah yes, Dunbar. my bad. I'm freaking HORRIBLE with names. I can tell you all about someone I've met face to face and what happened, but ask me a name... I'm retarded. lol

I'm 50/50 on RC atm, also money dependent. I really should spend my money on getting the XJ built and the TJ repaired, but we'll see.

As for a weekend in Wellsville. I'm down. I've always anted to go there, so count me in some weekend after taxes.

Woodsbuggy.com is actually planning a Hillclimbing competition @ Wellsville. I think its somewhere in May. That would be an awesome weekend to come out. A lot of the "pros" are coming out. And a lot of the Southern guys are coming. Going to be an insane weekend to say the least.
