New XJ owner from NC
Just got a '91 cherokee laredo. It's good to be back in the Jeep game. I had a Rubicon several years ago, but since I sold it I've been without a jeep.
I finally found an XJ for the right price. It's a beater right now. 196k miles. When I bought it she had been sitting for a little over a year. We threw a battery in and she fired right up. There was no smoking, knocking, or other problem signs. Not bad for 500 bucks. I drove her straight to Sidepipes in Newton, NC and had a full tune-up, had all the fluids drained and flushed, and had a set of tires put on.
Right now she's pretty much stock. Got the I6 engine with Auto.
Hopefully there will be a build thread in my future.
