Hey guys, I actually got my first XJ (or Jeep for that matter) today. I've been lurking here throughout the whole buying process, and learned a lot through it. I figured since I'm a Cherokee owner now, I'd register!

I picked up a 1998 Cherokee Sport. I really like the flat front end of the 97-01, so I was searching for a while for the right-ish one. I put the "ish" on there because it wasn't exactly what I wanted. I really wanted the flame red clearcoat, but ended up getting the bright red one. It has no underbody rust, no panel rust, and no rocker panel rust. The only spots on it are 2 spots of surface rest along the rain channels. I couldn't pass up a Cherokee this clean, and ended up trading my Mustang for it. It's missing a chrome wheel skin, and has a broken rear driver side light lens. The interior is spotless too. The owner had just replaced the transfer case, and gave me the old one so I could fix it and sell it.
