Hey guys and gals.
I'm Bryan I'm 20 (for a few more days) and I'm from Pittsburgh, Pa. Yes I'm a Steeler and penguin fan. I'm looking to get an XJ Country model. It needs some work, but will be my daily driver to and from school in the next 3 years. My neighbor has yet to get back to me but it is an XJ Country with 96k miles, auto, power windows and locks, popup sunroof, not sure what year, but I have heard that 97s came with CD players, this one does not. I've been snooping around the boneyard thread for subtle lifts for now until i get through college.

Buddy, I'm from a small town called indiana pennsylvania, I would suggest you get a jeep from the south, the lack of rust is much much much more user friendly. Usually you can get an older model that's got more cast iron parts for less cash. The more you save buying it the more you can put into it immediately. :-)
Thanks guys for the warm welcome. I also joined up on the jeepforum.com and they dont seem to keen on new people. (maybe i just get that since I was on a Colorado/Canyon truck forum too.)
I've been looking, but my neighbor's seems to be pretty good other than the surface rust and the fender.
I also know where Indiana is and Harmony. Hi Guys!!!

If you do find a good deal out of state I use uship.com. you can have it delivered by naming your own price. I sent a Jeep Cherokee I fixed up from Tulsa to PA (my mama was in love with it :-D) on a trailer for $350. Its pretty awesome and I'd recommend it!
Thanks again all.
I'll look into the uship.com thing. Still nothing from my neighbor...

Well it's official. I will be purchasing my neighbor's Jeep Cherokee Country in Mid to Late April. I will let everyone know about it as time goes on.
