Hey guys, next week Im getting a high mile 1988 Cherokee it's got a bad tranny, but comes with a good one out of a 93, and the price is right. What things should a new Cherokee owner be aware of? I also have access to newer locked up H/O engine for parts, is there anything worth value on there that I should transfer over to the '88 motor?

Welcome to CF. The HO parts won't work on your '88.

Well that sucks haha. My pack-rat buddy has the h/o motor just sitting around, told me I could take whatever I wanted.
