Thanks!
Any pointers on where to find lift kits? I don't want to do anything too outrageous. Maybe a 4" lift, without breaking the bank?

for lift kit try Stitch at Offroad Outfitters out of Toronto, Stitch is from Kitchener, Caged can give you some good advice, I/ve seen his XJ flex, just insane! 4" is a nice height target, research the net a little on what's available and what parts are affected. A front end alignment will be in order after the hardware install. Check out a site, Gojeep.com out of Aussi land, nice build up and really well organized how to website. By the way, Welcome!

yeah, stitch is great with jeeps. especially xj's.

you don't want a cheap lift, they feel stiff and consist of inferior parts/product.

for your desired height, i would go with some RE front coils, some adjustable control arms, maybe some drop brackets and a bastard leaf pack.

stitch can definitely get you started.
