Default New from North Carolina

Finally sold the truck and found an XJ. I can't wait to start building. Found a 2001 with the original owner that was close to 80 years old. Its has 76000 miles on it. I changed all the fluids and had my buddy do a professional detail on it.

Thanks for the warm welcome guys and girls( if any). I'm really excited about finding this Xj. Exterior has a few deep scratched on the bumper from the previous owner hooking up to hos boat trailer wit no help but I'm getting it repainted for nothing and the interior looks brand new with no rips or stains. This is gonna be my DD so I'm not going crazy with the off road stuff. Was thinking about a 3 inch lift with 31 inch all terrains. I wanted a 4.5 inch lift with 32's but I was worried about all the extra money in drive shafts, SYE, gears and whatever else is included. I'm new to this so any recommendations would be great. What would be my best bet on how to lift it and wheel backspacing.

Lol that's what they all say. And many people just get a rough country 3" kit you'll need a tcase drop probably; 31" tires are fine and you can run stock back spacing or get some soft 8s which have 2" back spacing (?) I think
