Hey folks new here from NC. Picked up this cherokee a short while ago.

It's a 98 classic. 6.5 Rusty's with hd track bar and steering stabilizer, SYE, JKS quicker disco's, 33x12.50 duratracs. AW4 - C8.25/D30. This is my first Jeep, I came from fast cars but now want something I can get more use out of. I haven't had a chance to take it out yet, but hopefully going wheeling this weekend at URE. Anyway looks like a good forum, hope to learn some things and meet some good folks.

Very clean XJ you have there! If you ever want to wheel it, check out Ralegh Area Wheelers on Facebook. Therer's a couple dozen local members who wheel just about every weekend.

I've been waiting for another setup XJ to come show these wranglers how we do. There's a few of us who enjoy turning wrenches, so let me know if you want any help getting it back on the trails quicker

It looks clean in the shade when you can't see all the scratches and dings lol. I want to go to URE this weekend but not sure if my schedule will allow.

I got a few friends going may 4th and 5th weekend, i'm gonna try to go that weekend
I hear ya. Just got a new trans in mine. Threw a shift kit/valve body in it, did the rear main seal and a few other odds and ends. Finally getting to where I can stop fixing crap and getting some aftermarket parts on. Doing my long arms sunday, and then hopefully a shackle reloaction kit next week and putting the high steer kit on shortly after.
