Hey folks

Just trying to get some of the details about a new project XJ. We (My 2 daughters and I) are building there car. My thought is this is how and why I was so careful as a kid. I build a 1982 VW Scirocco from the near dead. Those are some of my best memories with Dad, Family, and friends. I also took care of that car like it was my baby. Even though it was just a VW.

I am hoping to capture this magic with my girls. The good news is unlike me my girls are very creative and already have some ideas on colors of the interior. I am looking at a 96-99 XJ with a good body.

My basic thoughts so far (GOAL IS TO HAVE AN OVERBUILT SAFE RIG FOR MY GIRLS)
4.5 in Long Arm (Rusty's/RE/IRO/Clayton)
32 or 33 inch tires Duratrac
4.56 gears OX lockers
Skids
Mastercraft seats upfront
Recover rear seats via GIRLS SEWING SKILLS
Bumpers and rear tire carrier...

You get the picture. Having worked many hours on many JK's I am excited to play with the XJ.
