Just wanted to say hey to everyone. Ive been a member of some other jeep forums for a bit now, and just found this one today. im in the market for a XJ, and hopefully pick one up in the next couple weeks. Forum looks like it has a good amount of activity and info.

Yea I've found a few on CL, I'm just being picky. I'm also trying to sell my camaro first, help fund the jeep and put a little extra cash in my pocket.

 

Yeah there is a good selection around here. Might have to travel a little bit to get it. Well have fun with it. Oh and your gonna need the cash U plan on a lift?

alright! another fellow northern virginian! welcome to cf

 

if its not lifted, whats the point in owning it?? 3" min, but depending on the price of the jeep i find, and how much i sell the car for, will determine what size lift i get. id like to start out with a 4.5 - 5.5 lift and 31" - 33" tires. that and some recovery equipment, a hi lift jack, some aux lighting, and of course the initial, go over the jeep with a fine tooth comb because its new to me, and i like to know its had ALL fluids changed, and a fresh tune up before i drive it anywhere, that will pretty much eat up a nice chunk of change, but it will be an awesome starting point for my jeep.
