I have a 1995 Cherokee, 4.0L automatic. It's pretty well stock, with the exception of step tubes/nerf bars. I want to lift it, but not extremely so. This is intended to be a fishing/hunting vehicle, and to fill in when I maintenance my daily driver.
I'm interested in hearing input on lifting my Jeep, whether I want a suspension lift or body lift, and what the considerations are for each. I want to go with some bigger/chunkier tires too, but nothing radical or that would require modification of the wheel wells or fenders. I appreciate any input other members have. I'm very mechanically inclined, and would be doing the work myself.
Thanks!

It's a unibody, so there's no such thing as a body lift on these. You're probably going to want to go with a nice 3" suspension lift, and maybe some nice 30 x 9.5 x 15 All Terrains if you want to run on stock rims. It may sound like it'll look alot bigger, but honestly 3" looks almost stock to me. If your leaf springs are sagging, you're going to want a lift with new leaf packs, not add a leafs, and definately not blocks.
