New to JEEPS and forum... La
Hi guys,
I'm new to the jeep world thanks to my girlfriend's dad giving me a 1989 Cherokee. At the moment I don't know much about Jeeps (yet can rebuild my 01' Silverado and 97' BMW with my eyes closed...) and I need help. I am SUPER excited about the jeep, but there are many loose ends to tie up on it. It had a motor swap from another Cherokee and then sat up for a couple of years. So when I got it there were no drive shafts, no brakes or parking brake, and the selector for the transmission was disconnected. Of course I didn't find this out until I was rolling down a hill in the dark at 30mph with no light and the woods closing in very quickly .
Anyways, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I have big plans but I need to get her running first.
thanks,
Derek
